DUBAI, Broadcasting News Corporation : The Dubai Police General Command has recently received a delegation of Egyptian government leaders to review government’s best practices, latest technologies and innovative programmes utilised in the Emirate of Dubai. The visit came within the framework of the Mohammed Bin Rashid School of Government (MBRSG) programme, which introduces a group of Egyptian government leaders to advanced solutions and innovative experiences in the fields of governance and sustainability in the digital age. The delegation was received by Major General Dr. Muhammad Nasser Abdul Razzaq Al Razooqi, Director of the General Department of Operations at Dubai Police, in the presence of Brigadier Sheikh Muhammad Abdullah Al Mualla, Director of Excellence and Pioneering Department at Dubai Police, and a number of employees and officers. Maj. Gen. Dr. Al Razooqi highlighted the keenness of Dubai Police to extend all bridges of communication and cooperation with government entities, whether inside or outside the country, and to share the Force’s best practices as a leading government entity. He further reaffirmed the eagerness of Dubai Police to contribute to the development of government performance through the exchange of knowledge, expertise, and experiences with government and private entities, locally, regionally, and internationally. Maj. Gen. Dr Al Razooqi accompanied the delegation to the Command and Control Centre where they were briefed about the latest services and initiatives that enhance security and safety in the emirate. They were also introduced to the centre’s equipment and latest additions, such as the 3D map that covers Dubai and the patrols dispatching system to ensure swift and efficient response to reports and emergency calls. The delegation also visited the Dubai Smart Police Station (SPS) in Al Muraqqabat, which is the first traditional police station turned into a smart one.
They were briefed on to the various services provided by the Station to the customers in seven languages around the clock, including 27 key services, such as reporting crimes and traffic incidents, as well as a further 33 community-based services, which range from obtaining a good-conduct certificate to social support for victims of family violence.
