Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Naib Amir and former MP Dr. Syeed Abdullah Muhammad Taher says, The workers of the Islamic movement must play an uncompromising role in the struggle to turn the country into an Islamic welfare state by meeting the challenges of the 21st century by acquiring the qualities of talent, competence, wisdom and leadership. He urged the interim government to speedily complete state reforms and hand over power to the people’s representatives by holding immediate elections.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the staff meeting of Chandraganj police station of Lakshmipur district on Saturday (November 09, 2024 AD).
Thana Amir Mu. Under the chairmanship of Mustafa Molla and moderated by Secretary Advocate Rezaul Islam Khan Sumon, the central working council member and secretary of Dhaka Metropolitan North said as a special guest in the conference. Muhammad Rezaul Karim. District Amir SUM Ruhul Amin Bhuiyan, Deputy Amir AR Hafiz Ullah, Secretary Farooq Hossain Nurnabi and others spoke.
Dr. Syeed Abdullah Muhammad Taher says, In the last 16 years of rule, the Awami-Bakshalis have systematically destroyed all state infrastructure. They have turned the country into a fascist and mafia state by partisanship of the public administration, law enforcement, judiciary and education administration. The country’s democracy and democratic values have been destroyed. The constitutional institution, the Election Commission, was turned into Daldas Commission. These commissions illegally kept the elected Awami League in power by faking elections in the country. So there is no alternative to state reforms for acceptable elections including bringing back good governance to the country.”
He said, “Despite the fall of fascism, their ghosts are still active. Their dark shadow has not disappeared from various sectors of the state. They continued to conspire to thwart the simultaneous revolution of the students. The interim government did not show much success in controlling commodity prices. Because the control of the market is still in the hands of the fascist evil.
The market syndicates of their era are still active. So the market situation is still unregulated. Although the supply of daily commodities in the market was normal, it was not possible to prevent the fire prices.
In such a situation, the government has to show zero tolerance and take effective action against the culprits to rescue the control of the market from the clutches of fallen autocracy. Firoz Alam, the proud father of Shaheed Kausar Ahmed Bijay, who died in the anti-discrimination student movement, announced the inauguration of the conference. Shaheed Parvez’s proud father Mohammad Noornabi was also present on behalf of the martyr’s family.
