We want to present our rich culture to the world court

Adviser on Women and Children Affairs Sharmin S. Murshid said, Bangladesh’s cultural history has been cherished for many years. Due to its own characteristics, the heritage of this country shines with pride. We want to present our rich culture to the world through the young generation.

The advisor said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the inauguration of the project entitled ‘Implementing community based heritage festival in eight administrative divisions in Bangladesh’ approved by UNESCO for the protection of intangible cultural heritage at the Bangladesh National Museum on Friday (08 November 2024 AD).

Director General of Bangladesh National Museum, Md. Ataur Rahman, spoke as special guests at the event. Bangladesh National Museum Keeper Asma Ferdowsi delivered the welcome speech.

The adviser said that the traditional regime before August 5 will not be allowed to continue. Our young society has given the responsibility of running the state for a short period of time to shake up the traditional system of governance. She also said that the incomplete work in 53 years after independence in 1971, the interim government of 2024 wants to work with the dream of building a beautiful society with the collective efforts of all.

Titled ‘Anand Vaibhav: Bangladesh of Festivals’, the program was performed by 80 artistes from private organizations in eight categories across eight categories. Advisors enjoy their services.
