Army Ordnance Corps 44th Annual Captains Conference 2024 was held on Thursday (07 November 2024 AD) at the Ordnance Hall of Ordnance Center and School, Rajendrapur Cantonment, Gazipur.

Chief of Army Staff General Waqar-uz-Zaman, OSP, SGP, PSC were present as the chief guest on the occasion.

At this time, the army chief addressed the captains and other officers of the Ordnance Corps present at the annual commander’s conference and exchanged views on various issues including technical development, research, professional skill enhancement and future plans of the corps. At the same time, he remembered all the brave freedom fighters including the brave soldiers of the Ordnance Corps who sacrificed their lives in the Great War of Independence.

The Army Chief mentioned the glorious heritage of the Ordnance Corps and its contribution in the service of the country. He also appreciated the role of Ordnance Corps in the international arena and congratulated every member of the Corps.

He also urged all members of the corps to be ready to face the challenges of the 21st century through modern and up-to-date training. Senior military officers of Bangladesh Army, other officers, junior commissioned officers, other rank-and-file soldiers and media persons were present on the occasion.
