The adviser said these things in the opening speech of the two-day international conference on Islamic universities and contemporary challenges at the International Islamic University auditorium in Kumira, Chittagong on Monday (October 21, 2024) morning. The conference is being held in collaboration with the Islamic University League of Cairo, Egypt.

The religious adviser said that the students of the International Islamic University are very talented. The teachers of this university have distinguished erudition and professional skills and have obtained degrees with merit from renowned universities not only domestic but also abroad. International Islamic University has brought glory not only to Bangladesh but also to Southeast Asia.

The religious adviser also said that this university has exchange programs with various international universities. There is an opportunity to study from here and go to different universities in Turkey, Saudi Arabia and Malaysia to obtain a higher degree. There is a pleasant environment for higher education in this university.

To the Islamic scholars who came to the event. Khalid said, we are facing many problems. We have many challenges ahead of us. We have to face the present and future challenges with confidence and determination.

He said, we should not sit. Immense possibilities await us. All the students who come out of such Islamic universities will lead the world in the future. Therefore, we have to produce graduates from Islamic universities. Islamic universities need students to fulfill the aspirations and needs of the people. Here we will not only discuss problems but also find solutions.

Dr. Khalid also said that Islamic universities have a role in the Islamization of education and society and significant progress has already been made in these areas. He expressed hope that the future path will be smooth through the important recommendations received from this conference.

He said, we established this university with many dreams. This university will be a best institution and will be able to compete with other universities in the region to achieve the desired goals. Today we can see the realization of that dream. Now we have a long way to go. In his speech, he highlighted the glory and tradition of Islam and requested to follow Quran and Sunnah properly.
