Religious advisor D. A F M Khalid Hossain said that the martyrs of the July Revolution sacrificed themselves to free fascism for the greater good of the country and the nation. The nation will remember the martyrs of this revolution. The adviser said these things while meeting the family members of Shahid Ahsan Habib of July Revolution at Achhad Ali Para village of Chakoria Upazila of Cox’s Bazar on Saturday (19 October 2024 AD).

Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said that for a long time the people of the country were crushed by the exploitation, oppression and torture of the fascist government. The fascist regime of the time killed democracy and took away people’s freedom of speech. Students have played an incredible role in freeing the nation from this situation. They gave their lives to free the country from fascism. Their debt cannot be repaid.

Adviser Shahid Ahsan said to Habib’s father, your son gave his life for the country. It is very proud. We cannot return your child. But the government is always on your side. He also said that 30 lakh rupees will be given to each family of July Revolution martyrs on behalf of July Revolution Foundation. Meanwhile, the advisor handed over a check of Tk 200,000 to Shahid Ahsan Habib’s father under the management of As Sunnah Foundation.

Besides, he met the family of Wasim Akram, the first martyr in Chittagong in the July revolution, and handed over a check of Tk 200,000 on behalf of As Sunnah Foundation to his father.
Later, the adviser visited the graves of Shahid Ahsan Habib and Shahid Wasim Akram and prayed for their souls.

Besides, he visited Chakoria Residential Women’s University College and attended reception at Chakoria Grammar School. Religious Secretary Md. Hamid Jamaddar, Additional Secretary Md. Awal Howlader, Ramu Upazila Executive Officer Md. Fakhrul Islam and others were present.
