The songs of Lalon must be preserved for future generations

Fisheries and Livestock Adviser Ms. Farida Akhtar said, Fakir Lalon Shah’s songs should be preserved for future generations. Fakir Lalon Shah should be recognized and his music should be retained and spread among all.

The adviser said this while addressing the chief guest at a function organized on the occasion of Fakir Lalan Saiji’s 134th Tirodhan Day at Nabpran Akhrabari in Chenuria, Kushtia on Friday (October 18, 2024).

Secretary of the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock Syed Mahmud Belal Haider, prominent poet, philosopher, human rights activist Farhad Mazhar, Acting Deputy Commissioner of Kushtia Mocha: Sharmin Akhtar, Superintendent of Police Md. Mizanur Rahman and others also spoke.
