Religious advisor Dr. AFM Khalid Hossain said, we did not come to rule. I have come to smooth the path of those who will run the country in the future. Our political culture is destroyed, it needs to be restored. He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the ceremony organized on the occasion of the passing away of Barapir Hazrat Abdul Quader Jilani (RA) at Baitush Sharaf Complex in Cox’s Bazar on Friday (October 18, 2024).

He said, vote is a deposit. A good man will be elected by voting. You will cast your vote for the candidate of your choice. We will leave by handing over power to those elected by the people.
