Islamic jurist and hadith scholar Allama Mufti Abdul Malek (Hafi) has been appointed Khatib of Baitul Mukarram National Mosque. On Thursday (October 17, 2024) he was approved by the higher levels of the government to appoint him as Khatib of the National Mosque.

Mufti Abdul Malek visited Makkah, Madinah, Pakistan, India and Türkiye and presented papers in various national and international seminars. He has already written a total of 16 books in Bengali, Arabic, English and Urdu languages.

Besides, a research journal named Masik Al-Kawsar is published regularly under his supervision.
