Farooq E Azam, Adviser on Disaster Management and Relief, Bir Prateek on Wednesday (16 October 2024 AD) at his office of the Ministry on behalf of the Chief Adviser to support the victims of the recent severe floods, various institutions, individuals and Received a donation check of Tk 2 crore 50 lakh 47 thousand from the organization.

Among these individuals and institutions, Safi Ahmed Chowdhury of Gulshan, Dhaka 1 crore 50 lakhs, Arif Ahmed Chowdhury 50 lakh Taka, Asif Ahmed Chowdhury 50 lakh Taka And 10th grade coordinating council of government primary school assistant teachers paid 46 thousand Taka.

The advisor thanked all these individuals and institutions for standing by the flood victims.

It is to be noted that the Disaster Management and Relief Adviser has so far received a donation of Tk 956.8 lakh 21 thousand 730 through 220 checks/pay-orders/bank drafts on behalf of the Chief Adviser’s relief and welfare fund.
