On Wednesday (October 16, 2024), the meeting of the Board of Trustees of Bangladesh Journalist Welfare Trust was held in the meeting room of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Adviser Md. Nahid Islam presided over the meeting.

In the meeting, important decisions were taken regarding the interests of journalists, including providing financial assistance to the injured and killed journalists.
