Efforts should always be made to prevent wastage in government projects

 

Muhammad Fawzul Kabir Khan, advisor assigned to the Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources and Ministry of Railways commented that one should always try to prevent wastage in government projects.

He made this comment during an exchange of views with the journalists present after visiting the Mirpur-10 Metrorail station on Tuesday (October 15, 2024). Calling upon the commuters to be aware of the use of the Metrorail, the road and bridge advisor said that the current interim government is constantly working to improve the quality of life of the hardworking, hardworking and common people.

As a result of which the current government has been able to resume passenger services at the damaged Kazipara and Mirpur-10 Metrorail stations very quickly and at low cost. Meanwhile, the road advisor thanked all the officials and employees of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) for opening Mirpur-10 and Kazipara stations in a short period of time.

Stating that the current government is working on the highest priority to control commodity prices and traffic congestion, the road and bridge advisor also said that this government is giving importance to the completion of all projects at low cost, in less time and by reducing wastage to deliver real services to the doorsteps of the common people.

He also commented that the damaged Mirpur-10 metro rail station will be an exemplary example for all government institutions to reopen soon. At that time, Senior Secretary of Road Transport and Highways Department Md. Ehchanul Haque, Executive Director (Additional Secretary) of Dhaka Transport Coordination Authority (DTCA) Neelima Akhtar, Managing Director of Dhaka Mass Transit Company Limited (DMTCL) Mohammad Abdur Rauf, Additional Secretary of Road Transport and Highways Department Nafiul Hasan and senior officials of the ministry were present.
