Religious Secretary Md. Hamid Jamaddar said, Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. This is our tradition. The tradition of communal harmony must be nurtured. On Saturday (12 October 2024 AD), the secretary said these things while addressing the assembled devotees and pujaris after visiting the Puja Mandap at Sri Sri Lakshminarayan Jiu Thakur Mandir on the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja in Motijheel of the capital.

The religious secretary said, humanity is an important part of every religion. People should always be respected. In our society, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Christians and other religions live and move together. This is the diversity of our society.

This diverse society cannot be allowed to perish. Hamid Jamaddar said, Autumn Durga Puja is the biggest festival of Sanatan religious people. All kinds of precautionary measures have been taken to ensure the smoothness of this festival. He greeted the Hindus on the occasion of Durgotsava and assured cooperation in the development of Sri Sri Lakshminarayan Jiu Tagore Temple.

Earlier, the religious secretary visited Ramakrishna Mutt and Ramakrishna Mission Pooja Mandap in Motijheel. Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Religion Md. Naib Ali Mandal and Secretary of Hindu Religious Welfare Trust Dr. Krishnaendu Kumar Pal spoke. Meanwhile, the project director of temple-based children and mass education program. Shrikant Kumar Chand and Adviser’s Private Secretary Chadek Ahmad and others were present.
