The Advisor on Primary and Mass Education, Professor Dr. Bidhān Ranjan Ray Poddar, stated that in a harmonious Bangladesh, people of all religions have been living together peacefully and amicably for a long time. People of all faiths are celebrating their religious festivals joyfully. There are some troublemakers in society who wish to disrupt communal harmony.

If we can maintain unity and solidarity, then these troublemakers will never be able to achieve their objectives. Like every year, the Hindu community of the country is celebrating their worship beautifully this year as well.

The advisor made these remarks while addressing the gathered devotees and worshippers after visiting the worship pavilion at the Shri Shri Kali Temple on Bailey Road in Siddheswari, Dhaka, Friday (11 October 2024) on the occasion of the Durga Puja festival. Later, he distributed clothes among the underprivileged.
