New Bangladesh will be developed through amity and harmony

Religious advisor. AFM Khalid Hossain said that new Bangladesh will be developed through mutual amity and harmony. He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the cloth distribution ceremony organized by the Siddheshwari Sarvajanin Puja Udjakar Parishad on the occasion of the autumn festival Sri Sri Durga Puja 2024 at Siddheshwari Kali temple in the capital on Wednesday (09 October 2024 AD). Dr. Khalid said, genetically, our hearts are narrow. It applies to Hindus, Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Jains and people of various tribes who live in this country. We cannot place others in our hearts. We are extremely self-centered. We need to break this deadlock and broaden our perspective. Mutual amity and harmony should be increased. The religious adviser said that the earlier governments used to allocate Rs 2 crore to support the pujamandaps during Durga Puja. But the current government has allocated four crores this year. Apart from this, this is the first time breaking the traditional rules and extending the Durga Puja holiday by one day. Since time immemorial, people of Sanatan religions have been celebrating the autumn Durgo Festival with religious solemnity and enthusiasm.This is the tradition of Bangladesh. This year also they will be able to celebrate Durgo Festival in a joyful atmosphere. All preparations have been made at the target and necessary instructions have been given to the law and order forces. Dr. Khalid said, I have already visited several temples, churches and pagodas after taking charge. Distributing food items to some temples. Later also I will visit various places of worship. We have always protected communal harmony, we will protect it in future also.
