Religious advisor AFM Khalid Hossain met Leaders of Bangladesh Buddhist Federation . On Wednesday (October 9, 2024), they met at noon in the office of the religious adviser in the secretariat.
The leaders sought the Adviser’s vision so that Buddhists can celebrate the upcoming Prabarana Festival with religious solemnity and festive atmosphere. Besides, on the occasion of this festival, the adviser was invited to visit the Dhaka International Buddhist Monastery and to inaugurate the lantern flight. The Dharma Adviser assured all possible cooperation in celebrating the Shub Prabarana Utsav in a joyous atmosphere and with religious fervour. Besides, he welcomed the invitation to visit the International Buddhist Monastery. Among others, the acting chairman of the advisory council of the Buddhist Federation, Professor Dr. Sukomal Barua, International Buddhist Vihara Principal Shri Dharmamitra Mahasthavir, Vice-Principals Shri Buddhananda Mahasthavir and Bhadanta Sunanda Mahasthavir and Buddhist Religious Welfare Trust Secretary Jaydatta Baruah were present.
