It has been decided to extend the upcoming Autumn Durga Puja holiday by one day. Mahfuz Alam, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser, gave this information during a press briefing at Dhakeshwari temple on Tuesday (08 October 2024 AD). A notification in this regard will be issued today. As Thursday has been added to the list of holidays, this time the Hindus are getting a total of four days off including weekend to celebrate Durga Puja. He also said that this extra holiday is being given to celebrate Durga Puja happily and peacefully.
