Our activists have been mass arrested, disappeared and murdered. Still, they could not remove even one BNP activist from the target. Every leader of the party has worked in the fight to restore democracy. There was active participation of party leaders and activists at all levels to ensure the country’s democracy, freedom of speech, voting rights. Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP also said,
Many lives were lost in the final battle to overthrow the last fascist Sheikh Hasina. There will be no place for fascists and dictators in a country won by the blood of so many martyrs. He said these things in two separate road meetings in Biyanibazar upazila sadar and Barigram market on Sunday (October 6, 2024 AD) around 2:30 pm. Apart from this, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi paid tribute to the memory of the 11 martyrs of Golapganj and Biyanibazar in the anti-discrimination movement and said, The blood of the martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain. Mass murderers and all their accomplices will be tried on the soil of the country, inshallah. Meanwhile, Sylhet District BNP General Secretary Advocate Emran Ahmad Chowdhury said, The people of Golapganj and Biyanibazar upazilas gave the most lives in Sylhet district in the final struggle to restore democracy. This blood of martyrs will not be allowed to go in vain. For a long time, the people of this area have been discriminated against in development.
If the BNP gets the responsibility of running the state by the people’s verdict, this deprivation will no longer exist, inshallah.
