On Friday (August 9, 2024) morning, they paid tribute to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the Savar National Memorial.
At 10 a.m. the chief adviser Dr. Muhammad Yunus offered wreaths and stood in silence for a while paying deep respect to the memory of the martyrs of the liberation war.
Meanwhile, a smart team of three forces saluted the ceremony. At this time, the bugle sounded a sad tune. Advisors to the newly formed interim government, chiefs of the three armed forces and senior civil and military officials were present.
