1 person arrested with Phencidil at Panchagarh railway station

Members of Railway Security Force RNB arrested one person named Abu Siyam (18) along with 20 bottles of Phencidil at Panchagarh Vir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam railway station.
On Sunday (November 10, 2024) noon, he was handed over to the Narcotics Control Department staff by the magistrate. It is known that a case will be filed against him under the Narcotics Act. The detained Abu Siyam is the son of Jinnat Ali of Paukanpur village, Sangaon, Baliadangi police station, Thakurgaon.

According to station sources, Siam arrived at Panchagarh Bir Muktijoddha Sirajul Islam railway station in the morning by express train. He was apprehended by the railway security forces while loitering suspiciously at the station.

Talked to the detained youth Siam. He said, when I was coming by train from Parvatipur, a person named Antar gave me a bag after coming to Thakurgaon and told me to get down at Panchagarh and hand over the bag to the Banglabandha Express train. 2 thousand rupees will be given for this work. So when I got down to the station with the bag, I was caught.

Mahidul Islam, deputy inspector of railway security force RNB, said that the fast express train arrived at Panchgarh at 8:20 am. After that the young man got down from the train and was wandering suspiciously in the station. Meanwhile, as the movement was suspicious, our security personnel detained him and interrogated him. Meanwhile, according to an earlier secret news report, when he was searched, Phencidyls were found in a bag with him. At the same time Panchagarh district administration was notified to take legal action as per the instructions of the authorities along with lengthy interrogation.

In this regard, Panchagarh Sadar Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Executive Magistrate Mohan Minji said, we came to the station after receiving the news and conducted the operation.
However, as the amount of drugs is more than the mobile court rules and it is not covered by the mobile court, he has been handed over to the staff of the District Narcotics Control Department to file a regular case at the end of all the processes.
