Woman dies of dengue in Mymensingh Medical College Hospital

A woman named Jahura Khatun (24) died of dengue in the last 24 hours at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital. Deceased Jahura is the daughter of Mizanur Rahman of Kalabagan area of ​​Gauripur upazila of Khatun district.

On Wednesday (October 23, 2024) at noon, the focal person of Mymensingh Medical College Hospital Dr. Mohiuddin Khan confirmed this information. She said that the deceased was a resident of Gauripur upazila of Jahura Khatun district. He recently visited Ashulia area of ​​Savar, Dhaka.

From there he got dengue and returned home. Later, he was admitted to Mymensingh Medical College Hospital on October 15. He died on Tuesday (October 22) around 2.30 pm while undergoing treatment in the hospital.

She also said that a total of 37 dengue patients are under treatment in the hospital. Among them 28 men, 7 women and two children. In the last 24 hours, 20 people have been admitted to the hospital due to dengue and 19 people have recovered.
