Under the Expanded Immunization Program (EPI) under the Health Services Department, the final phase of the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination campaign is starting from October 24-2024 in the remaining 7 divisions except Dhaka Division. The vaccination program was successfully completed in October last year in Dhaka Division.

All the remaining 7 districts, upazila, city corporation and municipal educational institutes of 5th to 9th grade or equivalent adolescent students will be given HPV vaccination in their respective educational institutes.
In addition, non-institutional girls aged 10 to 14 years will be given HPV vaccination at existing permanent and temporary vaccination centers of EPI.

In this program, 62 lakh girls will be given 1 dose of HPV vaccine.
