Tri-annual Council of Chapanbabganj District Scouts has been completed. On Thursday (October 17, 2024), a council meeting was organized in the conference room of Chapainawabganj District Commissioner’s office. Bangladesh Silk Board Director General and Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Region Secretary Anwar Hossain inaugurated the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner and Chapainawabganj District Scouts President Abdus Samad chaired the council meeting, Chief Executive Officer of Chapainawabganj Zila Parishad Afaz Uddin, Bangladesh Scouts Rajshahi Region Regional Director Satya Burman, Regional Deputy Director Saiful Islam and others.

At the council meeting, councilors unanimously formed a new executive committee for the next three years. Later, Deputy Commissioner Abdus Samad officially announced the new committee.

The ex-officio president is Deputy Commissioner Md. Abdus Samad, the vice-president has been elected Mahananda TTL Mukt Scout Group editor A, K, M, Tajkir Uz-Zaman, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Afaz Uddin, District Education Officer, Md. Abdur Rashid, District Primary Education Officer Md. Jecher Ali, Mukt Mahadal, Chapainawabganj President, Md. Mosfiqur Rahman, Md. Aslam Kabir, Headmaster of Namoshankarbati High School was elected Treasurer, Golam Rashid, Joint Editor of Mahananda TTL Scout Group was elected as Editor and
Md. Maruful Haque, head teacher of Pathan Para Government Primary School, was elected as joint editor.
