In Dinajpur’s Birampur, a bicycle and education scholarship check distribution ceremony was organized by the upazila administration to improve the quality of life of minorities.
In the event, students were given bicycles and 291 scholarship checks. On Thursday (October 17, 2024) afternoon, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of UNO Nusrat Tasneem Awan and moderated by Upazila Academic Supervisor Abdus Salam.

Upazila Secondary Education Officer Shamser Ali Mondal, Primary Education Officer Runa Laila, Social Service Officer Abdul Awal, Women Affairs Officer Mosharrat Jahan,
Youth Development Officer Enamul Chowdhury, Administrative Officer Asma Banu, Birampur Press Club President Morshed Manik, Journalist Samiul Islam. spoke at the meeting.

Makleshar Rahman, chief assistant of UNO office, said that 41 bicycles were distributed in the event. Apart from this, 160 people from 1st to 5th class, 86 people from 6th to 10th class and 45 students of class XI-XII have been distributed education scholarship checks.
