Birampur Upazila Administration and Public Health Department jointly organized the World Hand Washing Day. UNO Nuzhat Tasneem Aon was the chief guest at the hand washing ceremony at the upazila square after the rally on Tuesday (October 15, 2024) at 4 pm.

Under the supervision of Upazila Academic Supervisor Abdus Salam, Upazila Public Health Engineer Sohanur Rahman Sohan spoke at the event. President of Birampur Press Club Morshed Manik, journalist Hafiz Uddin Sarkar, Shah Alam Biswas and Nayan Islam.

Mostafizur Rahman Masum, office assistant cum computer operator, demonstrated hand washing to the students at the event. Later, the students participated in hand washing.

Teachers-students and scouts, media workers of various institutions were present in the event.
