Trade advisor Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed said, 10 agricultural products will be provided at affordable prices for the convenience of consumers.
The adviser said these things while inaugurating the Agricultural OMS program in front of the Food Building in Dhaka on Tuesday (October 15, 2024).

The trade advisor said, “This is our effort to ensure that consumers get everything within their purchasing power at affordable prices.” We seek everyone’s cooperation. On the occasion, Home Affairs Advisor Lt. Gen. Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury (Retd.) said, “With the cooperation of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food, we have taken this activity so that we can deliver eggs, potatoes, onions, and vegetables to the doorsteps of the people at a fair price.” Initially, these agricultural products will be given to 20 places in the capital through truck sale.

The locations are – Food Bhawan, Manik Mia Avenue, Mirpur-10, Basabo, Basila, Rayer Bazar, Rajarbagh, Mugda-North, Mugda-South, Palashi Mor, Hazaribagh, Mohammadpur, Gabtali, Mohakhali Bus Stand, Begunbari, Uttarkhan, Dakshin Khan, Kamrangirchar, Rampura and Jhigatala.

Under this program, one kg of potatoes will be sold at Tk 30, a dozen eggs at Tk 130, one kg of onion at Tk 70, 1 kg of raw papaya at Tk 20 and five kg of various types of green vegetables will be sold in packages. Commerce Ministry Secretary Mohang Salim Uddin and Agriculture Ministry Secretary Dr. Mohammad Emdad Ullah Mian and Director General of Agriculture Marketing Department Masood Karim were present on the occasion.
