Singapore Non-Resident High Commissioner meeting with BNP delegation

Singapore’s non-resident High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Derek Law, held a meeting with the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP delegation. This meeting of the BNP delegation was held under the leadership of BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir at the BNP Chairperson’s political office in Gulshan on Sunday (November 10, 2024 AD) at 9:30 am.

Besides, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, member of the National Standing Committee of the party, Chairperson’s Advisory Council Member Dr. Enamul Haque Chowdhury.
Besides, Charge of the Affairs of Singapore High Commission in Dhaka, Mitchell Low, Rahul Abrahams were present.

After the meeting, Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury said that there was a long discussion on the issues related to the interests of the two countries. He said that Singapore feels that having an elected government is beneficial in terms of investment and development. Discussions were held on how to send more trained manpower to Singapore. Singapore has a high demand for nurses and is keen to hire people trained in other fields.

They want to invest in Bangladesh to train Bangladeshi workers more.
