BNP National Standing Committee member Babu Gayeshwar Chandra Roy said that nothing can be changed in the constitution without an elected parliament. We want to support the interim government.
To establish democracy through a fair and free election. If this government fails, everything fails.

We are cooperating with the government and will do so but elections must be held within a reasonable time frame. We have no say beyond a free and fair election.

He said these things in his guest speech at Khulna district and metropolitan BNP’s colorful rally on Friday (November 8, 2024 AD) on the occasion of the historic National Revolution and Solidarity Day on November 7.

He also said that there are changes and reforms, he agrees with everything, but nothing can be changed in the constitution without an elected parliament. This is the reality.

We will support whoever the people want but don’t try to undermine the organizational power of BNP.
