Secretary General of Bangladesh Jamaat Islam Professor Mia Golam Porwar said, Allah Ta’ala has initiated a new journey of Bangladesh, a new horizon through trials after trials for this Ummah on behalf of Allah Ta’ala. This November 7th we are celebrating a time when anti-hegemonic student masses organized a mass revolution. The spirit of November 7 and the revolution of August 5 of the students are linked to one source.
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the discussion meeting on the occasion of the historical Revolution and Solidarity Day organized by Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Dhaka Metropolitan South on 7th November. The meeting was held on Thursday (07 November 2024 AD) in the hall room of the Mahanagari Dakshin Jamaat office located in Paltan of the capital.

Professor Mia Golam Parwar said, on November 7, 1975, a successful revolution of sepoys against hegemony and dictatorship took place in post-independence Bangladesh. On that day, Islamic values and democracy were restored to the sound of Naraye Takbir Allahu Akbar. The people’s right to vote and rice was established. Multi-party democracy was re-established in the country instead of one-party rule. The fallen Awami group once again came to power in the country, subverting the rule of law, banishing democracy and endangering human rights, depriving the people of their rightful right to vote and rice. In 15 long years, disappearances, murders, rapes spread in an epidemic form.
The people of the country overthrew the dictatorship on August 5. Now another revolution is needed on the basis of Islamic ideals to fully liberate the country’s democracy and people. Which will shape the future of this nation. Just as the people of this country rose up against dictatorship, exploitation and oppression on 7th November, similarly the students on 5th August played a united role against all hegemonic forces.
Nurul Islam Bulbul in the President’s speech said that on the historic 7th of November, sepoys and people came down on the streets with a firm commitment to protect the country’s independence, sovereignty and democracy. By abusing power, the Mujib government curtailed democracy and the rule of law, took away all the basic rights of the people, including freedom of speech, freedom of the press. The spirit of the historic November 7 is essentially the spirit of a united struggle against the hegemonic and anti-liberty-sovereign evil forces. Patriotic sepoys saved Bangladesh by defeating hegemony on November 7, 1975 through revolution and solidarity.
As on August 5, the student crowd once again saved the country. On behalf of Jamaat-e-Islami, we want to tell the countrymen that 18 crore people of Bangladesh are a deposit with Jamaat. If it takes blood to protect the people of the country, we are ready to give life for the country.
