The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs has appointed 34 lawyers as government law officers in various courts of Rangpur district.
Among them, Md. has been appointed as GP (Government Counsel) of Rangpur District Judge Court. Ekramul Haq. 4 have been appointed as Additional GPs and 3 as Assistant GPs in the same court.
Meanwhile, as PP (Public Prosecutor) Md. Aftab Uddin has been appointed as District and Sessions Judge

Apart from this, 3 persons have been appointed in 3 Women and Child Abuse Prevention Tribunal, 1 person in Special Judge Court, 1 person in Cyber ​​Tribunal and 1 person in Anti-Terrorism Special Tribunal. Besides, 1 Special Prosecutor and 1 Assistant Special Prosecutor have been appointed in Human Trafficking Crime Tribunal. On the other hand, 1 additional PP has been appointed in the special judge court and 9 additional PP and 7 assistant PP have been appointed in the district and session judge courts.

On Tuesday (October 22, 2024), Deputy Solicitor (GP-PP) Sana Md. from the Solicitor Wing of the Law and Justice Department of the Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs. An appointment order signed by Mahruf Hossain was issued in this regard. The order cancels the appointment of all previously appointed law officers and relieves them from their duties.
