Noakhali’s Senbag Upazila Krishak League President Omar Farooq Prakash Milan (53) has been arrested by the police. On Monday (21 October 2024 AD) at around 7:30 PM, a special team of Thana Police arrested him from Pilot High School area of ​​Senbagh. Immediately after his arrest, he was taken to Senbag police station.

Omar Farooq is the elder brother of Golam Kabir, the former vice chairman of Senbag Upazila Parishad.

When contacted in this regard, Senbag police station officer in-charge OC Md. Mizanur Rahman said that the police station has several cases against the arrested Omar Farooq Milan. He was arrested because of the case. The arrested Omar Farooq Milan will be sent to Noakhali judicial court on Tuesday morning.
