Adviser on Women and Children Affairs Sharmin S. Murshid said that students, civil society and political parties should work together to implement the dream of building a new Bangladesh. He said, now is the time to build a new Bangladesh with the joint efforts of all. Where there will be no injustice, corruption, misrule. That is why the national philosophy wants to be free from all corruption.
The adviser said these things in his speech as the chief guest at the national consultation meeting titled ‘Civil Society: Past, Present and Future’ at a hotel in Gulshan in Dhaka on Saturday (19 October 2024 AD).
Rasheda K Chowdhury, Convener of CSO Alliance and Executive Director of Mass Signature Campaign participated in the discussion as the guest of honor in the national consultation meeting Syeda Rizwana Hasan, Adviser on Water Resources and Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Head of Anti-Corruption Reform Commission and Executive Director of TIB. Iftekharuzzaman, Former caretaker government advisor and BRAC chairperson. Hossain Zillur Rahman, BNP Standing Committee Member and former Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Jonaid Saki, the chief coordinator of mass solidarity movement, Asaduzzaman Fuad, joint member secretary of AB Party, research director of CPD. Khandakar Golam Moazzem and Anti-discrimination student movement coordinator Abu Bakr Mazumder, coordinator Umama Fatema and other coordinators.
