Newly appointed Consul General of Bangladesh in Dubai and Northern Emirates Md. Rasheduzzaman presented the ‘Letter of Commission’ to Rashid Abdullah Al Kasir, Deputy Director of the Dubai Office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

Meanwhile, the Consul General thanked the UAE government for the presence of a large number of expatriate Bangladeshis in the UAE and contributing to the economy of both countries through employment and trade.

The Consul General expects the continued support and cooperation of the concerned authorities in Dubai to ensure the overall welfare of the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Besides, he expressed his interest to the Deputy Director to work together with Dubai and Northern Emirates to create new areas of business, trade and investment in Bangladesh in the future.
