The President’s call to build a developed and prosperous Bangladesh without discrimination regardless of religion and caste

President Md. Sahabuddin said that everyone should work together irrespective of caste and religion to make Bangladesh a developed, prosperous and non-discriminatory country. Bangladesh is a country of communal harmony. He said, to accelerate the national progress and prosperity, the existing harmony and mutual friendship of the society should be kept intact.

The President said this while exchanging greetings with Hindus and other dignitaries at Bangabhaban on the occasion of Autumn Durga Puja on Sunday (October 13, 2024). The President said that the basic message of all religions is human welfare. We are all Bangladeshis.

Everyone here is built on the same formula. Majority or minority based thinking is irrelevant here. All are one and the same entity. Religious values ​​should be used for the welfare of the country and people. He also said that this year’s victory pledge should be to build a progressive and peaceful social system for the new generation in the bond of mutual sympathy, harmony and human values.

At this time, the President called on everyone, regardless of party affiliation, to stand by the helpless people affected by the floods in the country.
