A call for new teachers to play a leading role in advancing primary education

Elementary and Mass Education Adviser Professor Dr. Bidhan Ranjan Roy Poddar said, Newly recruited head teachers will play a leading role in advancing primary education. Primary education should be given importance. Because primary education is the most essential part of education. The advisor said this while addressing the chief guest at the certificate distribution ceremony of orientation training course 2024 for newly joined head teachers (non-cadre) of government primary schools at the National Academy of Primary Education (NEP) in Mymensingh on Monday (07 October 2024). The advisor said, to improve the country, people have to improve. Health should be improved along with education. The initial stage is what makes a child interested in knowledge. We need to emphasize that place.
Director General of NEP Farid Ahmed spoke on the occasion among others Deputy Commissioner Mufidul Alam, Superintendent of Police Md. Azizul Islam, NEP Director Zia Ahmed Sumon, Mohammad Ali Reza, Deputy Director of Divisional Primary Education Directorate, Course Director Abu Saleh, Ahsan Ibn Masood, Trainees Sumaiya Akhtar and Chotan Chandra Roy. Note that 80 head teachers from 48 districts of the country participated in the 15-day orientation training course. The course starts on 23 September and ends on 7 October. All the head teachers participating in the course are 40th BCS A non-cadre. Before this, the advisor interacted with NEP officials. Later, the advisor exchanged views with departmental, district and upazila level officials of Mymensingh Division under Directorate of Primary Education.
